The insured documents are the documents that contain within them insurance features that ensure the protection of the value of the document as they are given high protection against forgery methods, or those issued illegally, forged or fraudulent. Many identity documents contain insurance features, such as passports, identity cards and driver’s licenses. Other examples of insured documents include bank notes, social security cards, travel visas, lottery tickets, etc.
